Interlochen

Offering:

  • 1 Week Advanced Ballet
  • 3 Week Ballet Program
  • 6 Week Ballet Program

Tuition: $1,075 – $9,530

What Makes it Unique:  “At Interlochen Arts Camp, dancers grow and develop their artistry and technique in an environment that is challenging, focused and supportive. With limited class sizes, students receive individual attention from the faculty of professional dance educators. The dance program draws on the creative vitality that exists at Interlochen, with live musicians featured in each class. Students can choose a ballet or modern dance emphasis.” Note that this program is only for high school students.

Offering: 4-5 Weeks

Tuition:

  • $1,975 (Level 3)
  • $2500 + $2,400 Room and Board (Levels 4-9)

What makes it unique: “Our uniqueness is that we have a variety of faculty members from different backgrounds ready to focus on their expertise.  We have different styles, with perhaps each teacher emphasizing something different. We have internationals teachers (flamenco to ballet) at the school ready to intensely train our invitees of the program.  There are only 150 slots.

We also have fun activities planned for our student while they do not dance on the weekends.  Last but not least we hold valuable injury prevention (Body Dynamics, Inc) and a nutrition seminar (Healing Paths with Teri Cochrane) for our attendees.”

Colorado Ballet

Offering: 4-6 Weeks

Tuition: $1,990- $5,250

What makes it Unique: “We are unique in that we are Company based and not a “dance school franchise” with diluted summer programs all over the country.”

 

 

 

 

River North

Offering: 1-3 Weeks

Tuition: $500/Week

What Makes it Unique: We are offering workshops specifically for Middle school dancers, high school dancers, college dancers and professionals. Ballet is practiced everyday alongside other dance forms such as jazz and yoga.

 

Ballet West

Offering: 4  or 8 Week sessions

Tuition: $1,500 – 3,000

What Makes it Unique: This program offers students the chance to earn college credits for each session. It also gives students the opportunity to contend for Ballet West II- their second company. 

 

houston ballet summer intensive Houston Ballet 

Offering: 3-6 Weeks

Tuition: $1,100- 2,100 plus room and board

What Makes it Unique: This summer intensive gives students the opportunity to train in a professional environment. Each student will dance six to eight hours per day, six days per week, showcasing what it is really like in the professional dance world.

 

Joffery Summer Program

Offering: 1- 7 weeks

Tuition: $599 – $3,049 + Room and Board (starting at $499/week) + Meal Plan ($225/Week)

KC summer Intensive Carolina Ballet

Offering: 2-5 Weeks

Tuition: $1,000 – 2,250 + Room and Board ($485/week)

What makes it Unique: Up to six hours of dance per day with the privilege of watching Carolina Ballet’s open rehearsals.  There are also additional classes offered like: History, music appreciation and injury prevention.

 

Kansas City Ballet Summer Intensive:

Offering: 5 Weeks

Tuition: $2,100 + Room and Board ($2,400)

What Makes it Unique: All dancers are considered for Kansas City’s second company.
